Abstract: The occurrence of Trifolium angulatum in Austria, with notes on Trifolium retusum and Trifolium striatum in north-eastern Burgenland Trifolium angulatum was found in 2014 between Apetlon and Wallern in north-eastern Burgenland. Modern Floras do not mention it for Austria. A literature search revealed an indication from the 19th century that the species occurs in present-day Austria. The finding was first described in the unpublished Flora Mosoniensis by Peter Wierzbicki. Three further populations were found in 2015, all in salt steppes on solonetz. The present article also includes notes on the occurrence of Trifolium retusum and Trifolium striatum in north-eastern Burgenland. Neilreichia 7: 103117 (2015)
