Abstract:
This diploma thesis is about how the protection of nature is practiced in the national park Seewinkel and which unique plants and animals can be found in the different landscapes of the national park. It also gives an overview about laws regarding the protection of nature in the federal state of Burgenland. An interview with an expert of this national park gives further information about problems caused by climate change, agriculture and tourism. I have chosen this topic because the protection of nature is important, as it is proven that staying a couple of moments in nature has positive effects on the body and soul of human beings.
